It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muriel Decap (Princeton, Iowa), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Hoffman and Elizabeth Hoffman (Crumm); and her siblings, Leonard "Bud" Hoffman Jr., Virginia "Micky" Ewoldt, Bruce "Buster" Hoffman and Verona "Cookie" Kipper.

She is survived by: her former husband Richard Hamilton Sr.; her husband Bill DeCap of Princeton; her children, Rick Hamilton of Eldridge, Randy Hamilton (Patti Bellman) of Princeton, Jeff Hamilton (Marci) of Eldridge, Sheryl Glunz (Dean) of Eldridge, Sharon Vershaw (Todd) of Long Grove, Missy Strodtman (Randy) of Andrew, Trina Hill (Dave) of Tipton and Mike DeCap (Stephanie) of Donahue; her grandchildren, Derek, Ashly, Garrett, Kayla, Mashanna, Brittany, Brandon, Brooke, Jevon, Jared, Jeffrey, Tyler, Natalie, Sarah, Nicole, Anna, Robert, Morgon, Jack, Braylyn, Landon, Carter, Colin, McKenna and Angie; and her siblings, Frances "Bunny" Jones of Davenport, Daryl "Butch" Hoffman (Lois) of Lizbon, Indiana, Nick and Dana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
