She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Jackson and Vivian Jackson (Pauley); her spouse Dayton E. "Tony" Thornton; and her daughter Vickie Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Terri Thornton of Firestone, Cindy Ramsay (David) of Davenport, Julie Keehn (Tim) of Eldridge and Mark Thornton (Stephanie) of Rock Island. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Princeton Volunteer Fire & Rescue or the Scott County Humane Society.
