He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Werkmeister and Agnes Werkmeister (Daly); his significant other Margaret L. "Maggie" Ryerson; his brothers, Richard Werkmeister and Lawrence Werkmeister; and his siblings-in-law, Daniel Schneider and Ann Werkmeister.
He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Witt (Bob) of Pingree Grove, Corinne Schneider of Itasca, Kathleen Segal (Alan) of Myrtle Beach and Alan Werkmeister of Villa Park, Illinois; his stepson Tim Ryerson (Crystal) of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Kyoko Werkmeister of Tucson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
