He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Bern and Elaine Bern; and his daughter Rhonda Weisbrod (Bern). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Litka of Sutherland, IA.; and his children, David, Brenda Leuer (Nick), Randy Bern (Ronda), Brent Bern (Victoria), Cory Bern, Heidi Bern and Heather Bern. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Warner Funeral Home- Everly (210 S Ocheyedan St, Everly, IA 51338). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
