It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Ruth Bergen of Primghar, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Liebermann and May Liebermann (Leese); her husband Arthur Bergen; and her brother Marcus. She is survived by: her children, Lee Bergen (Jean) and Raye Bergen (Hannes Spintzik); her granddaughters, Linsey (Bergen), Schlosser (Tad) and Katie Bergen (Brandon Thompson); and her great grandchildren, Anessa and Liana Morrison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
