He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Johnson and Ella Johnson (Hoff); his wife Florence of Valentine's Day; his siblings, Clara, Delores and Ray; his siblings-in-law, Liela, Eva, Dorothy, Fritz, Allen and Alfred; and his granddaughter Jessica.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Driscoll (Terry), Scott (Celia), Connie Snyder, Jon (Sharon), Diane Mitchell (Don), Tom (Marcia), Mark (Becky), Tim (Kari) and Brad (Sandy); and his brothers-in-law, Ron and Don. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Christ Lutheran Church, Preston, or to Gundersen Harmony Care Center in Harmony, in memory of Richard.
