He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jerome Simonson (Maxine), Lyle Simonson (Joyce), Emma Janice Winch and Alta McCarthy (John); his brother-in-law Curtis Amy; and his granddaughter Amy Ristau.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Dean Simonson (Tammy) of Preston, Donna Shanahan (Denny Gilgenbach) of Rochester, Denise Case (Troy) of Preston and Deb Ristau (Doug) of Preston; his grandchildren, Kris Hunnicutt, Kyle Shanahan (Ann), Melissa Simonson, Mitchell Simonson (Ashley), Ashley LaFleur (Phil), Austen Case (Kaila), Taylor Case, Kelsey Woellert (Joe), Kate Brincks (Bryce) and Brady Ristau; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Addison, Braelynn, Hudson, Reese and Graham; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Winch and Phyllis Amy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
