It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene R. Bormann of Preston, Iowa, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bormann and Genevieve Bormann (Roling); and his siblings, Orville and Joan Smithers. He is survived by: his wife Janice Banowetz; his children, Annette Haffar (Aziz), Ron Bormann (Lynn) of Waterford, WI, Neil Bormann (Angie) of Grimes, IA, Sherry Marvin (Paul) of DeWitt and Nathan Bormann (Jennifer) of Miles; his grandchildren, Andreas (Alden Haffar), Keaton, Mariah, Landon (Adelynn Bormann), Layne (Drew Bormann), Danielle, Matthew, Nicole, Leah (Jacob Marvin) and Lucas (Kennedy Bormann); and his sisters, Beatrice Gavin of Maquoketa and Gladys Tebbe of Dubuque.
