With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Stackhouse (Preston, Iowa), who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Newell Smith and Minnie Smith (Rick); her siblings, Lois Briske and Lauren Smith; and her sister-in-law Pat Smith.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Miles "Hap" Stackhouse and George Stackhouse; her children, Cindy McNamara of Spring Valley, Terry Stackhouse of Spring Valley, Chuck Stackhouse (Mary) of Preston and Randy Stackhouse (Teresa) of Spring Valley; her brother Ron Smith of Fifty Lakes, MN; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Smith. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
