He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Michels and Florence Michels (Deppe); and his brothers-in-law, William Cline, Milo Keeney and Bill Taylor.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Keeney, Dale Michels (Margie), Connie Taylor, Cheri Kaczinski, Danny Michels, Cora Sutton (Chester), Carma Hovey (Jim), Dean Michels, Carla Caes (Ben), John Michels (Denna) and Tammy Cline. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
