He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Tammy Olson (Dan) of Maquoketa, IA, Patty Staner (Jamie) of Monmouth, IA and Connie Roling of Charlotte, IA; his siblings, Shirley Saunders (Terrill) of Spragueville, IA, Joyce Donath of Dubuque, IA, Millie Widel (Paul) of Maquoketa, IA, Brenda Bowling (Everett) of Maquoketa, IA, Mary Krabbenhoft (Butch) of Fairbank, IA, Susan Bystol of Maquoketa, IA and Clarence Polkinghorn of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Deb Mohr (Alfie) of Miles, IA and Darlene Hall (Nate) of Davenport, IA.. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Delbert L. Polkinghorn memorial fund has been established.
