He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Larsen; his children, Diana Schmidt of Wabasha, Paul Schmidt (Karen) of Preston and Sarah Schmidt of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Vaughan Schmidt and Devan Schmidt of Greenleafton; and his brothers, Richard Schmidt (Wanda) of Fort Collins, CO and Chris Schmidt (Marlene) of Richfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
