With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelson Frank LeClere of Prairieburg, Iowa, born in Delaware, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray H. LeClere and Minerva S. LeClere (Ratcliff); his wife Mary Lorraine; and his siblings, Merna Veverka, Merla May Russell, Nona Donegan and Manly Ray LeClere.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Silver (Jim Liuzzo) of Cedar Rapids, Steven LeClere (Kathy) of Prairieburg, Linda Holub (Jeff) of Central City and Ronald LeClere of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
