He is survived by: his daughter Beth Hallerud (John) of Wheaton, Illinois; his grandson Christian Hallerud of Wheaton, Illinois; his stepdaughters, Lene Johnson and Leslie Underwood (Dee); and also Alma Tisinger (Paul) of Iowa City, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
