It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Leon Kain (Prairie City, Iowa), who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lloyd and Marguerite Kain (Dubs); his son Jim Kain; and his brothers, Hollis Kain and Jean Kain.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Joan Trager; his children, John Kain (Lora) and Joan Stein (Mike); his grandchildren, Lucas Kain, Jacob Stein (Miranda), Jordan Stein, Kelsey Kain and Lindsey Kain; his great grandchild Liam; his sister Sandra Harsin (Larry); and his sister-in-law Pam Harvey (Terry).
Memorials may be directed to Prairie City Ambulance, Jasper County Animal Rescue League or the Pleasant Hill Community Building Fund.
