With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Eugene Lemmert of Prairie City, Iowa, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Lemmert and Desdamona Lemmert (Maffini). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Stech; his sons, Cory Lemmert (Lacey) and Joe Lemmert (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kylie, Peyton, Kendall and Lena; his sister Louise Clatterbuck (Hugh); and his nephew Mark Clatterbuck (Sharon).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Reformed Church, Teen Challenge, Central Iowa Cursillo or Gideon's.
