It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Keith Van Der Kamp of Prairie City, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Der and Freda Van Der (Van Zee); his parents-in-law, Lester and Dena; and his sister Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Lorena Van Peursem; his son Mark; his grandson Blake; and his siblings, Joyce, Jerry, Carl, Caryl and Duane.
Memorials may be directed to First Reformed Church, Wesley Life Hospice or a bench for the new bike trail.
