She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kugel and Clara Kugel (Winke); her husband Merlin Calvin Snitker; her daughter Diane (Tennis Foels); her grandson Adam Berg; and her siblings, Verla Cade and Arlyn Kugel.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Snitker (Sharon) of Waukon, Suzanne Berg of Decorah, IA, Julie Russell (Donald) of DeWitt, IA, Jolene Duwe (Joe) of Postville, Randy Snitker (Beth) of Postville and Glen Snitker of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Todd Snitker (Rhonda), Christi Regan (John), Corey Snitker, Ryan Snitker (Trista), Tracy Hjelle (John), Aaron Berg, Brian Olson (Eva), Bruce Olson (Erika), Tina Summers (Zachary), Travis Russell (Julie), Shannon Duwe (Michele), Angie Mohs (Dustin), Bradley Snitker (Heather), Matthew Snitker (Natalie) and Anthony Snitker (Mark); and her siblings-in-law, Sandi Kugel, Betty Snitker and Don Johnson. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Zalmona Presbyterian Church or Good Samaritan Center in Postville.
