She was predeceased by: her father Lester Sorenson; and her brother-in-law Rodney Hutchinson. She is survived by: her former husband Jack Lenz; her husband Kenneth E. Axman Jr. of Pomeroy; her children, Carie Lenz of Glidden, Westin Lenz (Paige) of Manson and Krista Lenz of Pomeroy; her grandson Ryzin Lenz; her mother LaVonne Sorenson of Pomeroy; her siblings, Brenda Smith (Denny) of Fort Dodge, Kimberly Hutchinson (David Holder) of Pomeroy and Douglas Sorensen (Martha) of Fort Dodge; and her parents-in-law, Kenny Sr. and Helen Axman of Pomeroy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
