It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Lynn Loots of Pomeroy, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray C. Loots and Dorris L. Bischoff Loots; his sister Juanita; his brother-in-law Roger Becker; his sister Judy Putnam Klotz; his nieces, Cindy Becker Jepsen and Carla Putnam Edwards; and his parents-in-law, Wayne E. and Bernadine Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his siblings, Lila Loots of Highlands Ranch, CO and Roger Loots (Ann) of Broomfield, CO.; his siblings-in-law, Sherry Kutz (Tom) of Holt, MO, Mary Moeller (Karl) of Kearney, MO and John Hansen (Debbie) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his nephew Lynn Becker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
