He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Simmer; and his close friend John Burchett. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sherri Hiatt; his children, Denni Simmer, Jobe Hinders (Sydney), Dan Simmer, Shae Brekke (Kenton), TJ Hiatt (Brook) and Tanner Hiatt; his grandchildren, Keagin, Willow, Everleigh, Caden, Mason, Macklin, Benjamin, Emmersynn, Ivylynn and Wrenynn; his mother Sue Simmer; his brother Daryl Simmer (Tamii); and his aunt Coleen Deets. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
