He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Twedt and Jeanette Twedt (Lee); his in-laws, Albert and Laveeta Fausch (Smith); his sister Marilyn; his brother-in-law Don Swenson; his brother Paul John Twedt; his brothers-in-law, Myrland Fausch (Caroline), Robert Fausch and Harvey Etzen; and his nephew Steve Fausch.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Twedt; his children, Kristin Evenson Rosell (Jeff), Kerri Dicken (Mark) and Craig Twedt (Cindy); his grandchildren, Spencer Evenson, Kelsey Bussanmas (Nick), Zachary Dicken (Brittany), Joshua Dicken (Mackenzie), Kendall Twedt, Tanner Twedt and Dylan Twedt; his great grandchildren, Breck, June, Sly Bussanmas and Tinsley Dicken; his brothers, Wayne Twedt (Karen) and Steve Twedt (Joan); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Ann Etzen and Marilyn Fausch.
