He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marius Paulsen and Anne Paulsen; his wife Ellen; his children, Terri Savageau (Kurt), Susan Paulsen, Jon Paulsen (Darla) and Kimberly Mortensen; his grandchildren, Jessica Gregurich (Jared), Kristin Welninski (Kevin), Shawn, Darrell, Roxanne Lutter, Keelia (Peter Naschke), Kipp (Andrea Vaage), Keegan (Ryan), Kamilla, Kiki, Keller, Kallan Paulsen, Jacob (Gatha), Jordon and Joshua Mortensen; and his great grandchildren, Ruby Gregurich, Blake, Owen Welninski, Henrietta Paulsen, Ezra, Greta Mortensen and Ivanna Larkin.
