He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Charles Jr.; his grandparents, Raymond Sr., Henrietta Shuler and Marion Schotanus; and his parents-in-law, Ranny Hoffarth and Linda Schlader.

He is survived by: his mother Mickey Marsha Shuler (Schotanus); his wife Gretchen Shuler (Schlader); his children, Callen and Lilian Shuler; his parents-in-law, Carol Hoffarth and Stephen Schlader; his sister Heather Chambers (Paul); his sister-in-law Heidi Schlader (Kevin Bowery); his niece Hannah Chambers (Zach Bergmann); and his nephews, Levi Kielsmeier (Bobbi) and Isaac Chambers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (507 1st Ave NW, Rockford, IA 50468).

“We were so very sad to hear of Jeremy’s passing. Steve still talks about the things the two of them got up to when they were boys. They spent a lot of time together. I remember Jeremy as a goofy, happy friend who loved to have fun. Gretchen, you and the kids are in our hearts as we know this must be such a painful time.
