He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Lane and Helen Lane; his father-in-law Darrell Werner; his sister Connie McCoy; his sister-in-law Nancy Werner; his goddaughter Danielle Pettis; and his nieces, Amber and Andrea Eikman.
He is survived by: his close friend Patsy Werner; his children, Melissa Ann Lane of Polk City and Jacob Daniel Lane (Laura Vaughn) of Coon Rapids; his wife Patsy Lane of Polk City; his mother-in-law Carol Werner of Lake George, Minnesota; his siblings, John Lane (Kathy) of Aurora, Colorado, Trish Streveler (Denny) of Eau Claire, Phyllis Pettis (Greg) of Huron, Jackie Lane of Menomonee, Bobbie Winkler (Fred) of Prescott and Judy Sedahl (Mike) of Altoona, Wisconsin; and his brothers-in-law, Dan Werner of Lake George and Neil McCoy. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and many close friends, cousins, and extended family.
