She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Schendel and Kathryn Schendel (Grossmeyer); her husband Darrell Perrigo; her sisters, Ruth Schendel and Barbara Rigby; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Schendel and Harlan Edge.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Pomeroy (Steve) of Pocahontas, Brenda Perrigo (Kevin Warntjes) of Watertown, SD, Mike Perrigo of Livermore, Greg Perrigo (Tami) of Raleigh, NC and Randy Perrigo (Lori) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kopriva (Zach), David Perrigo (Leslie), Tyler Perrigo (Taylor) and Brooke Gerace (Anthony); and her siblings, Donald Schendel of Pocahontas, Rose Edge of Laurens and Betty Ohlinger (Ray) of Pocahontas. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
