He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Behrendsen and Lucy Behrendsen (Bartosh); and his wife Donna Smith. He is survived by: his children, Joan Gouge (Peter) of Garner, Julie Sitterle of Boone, Jeanette Winkleblack (Bill) of Panora and John Behrendsen (Shawn) of Gilmore City; his siblings, Richard Behrendsen of Cimarron, NM and Lauraine Crouse; and his sister-in-law Marcella Schoberg. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
