With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Twyla J. Smith of Pocahontas, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Heggen and Sylva Heggen (Tonderum); and her brother-in-law Neil Gilleland. She is survived by: her husband Donald Smith; her children, Todd Cuklanz of Laurens, Michelle Lohman (Bryan) of Spencer, Crystal Cuklanz of Laurens and Jessica Zuetlau (Matthew) of Pocahontas; her grandchildren, Tyson, Collin, Kage, Tristan, Elijah, Isaiah, Jordan, Madilyn, Olivia and Savannah; and her siblings, Alan Heggen (Glenda) of Ames, Marcia Smith (Robert) of Alta, Janet Christiansen of Olathe, KS and Carol Woods (Brian) of Spirit Lake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
