He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Brown and Kathleen Brown (Irwin). He is survived by: his wife Julie Wiese; his siblings, Dan Brown (Anne) of Ogden, Utah, Rhonda Wangerin (Jim) of Deer Lodge, Montana and Wendell Brown (Cindy) of Polk City, Iowa.; his stepchildren, Haylee (Angelo) of Pocahontas, Deb-Nubila of Pocahontas, Josh Oswald (Starr) of Pocahontas, Allison Cooper (Nick) of Pocahontas and Dave Helmers of Pocahontas; and his grandchildren, Cainan, Teagan, Emersyn, Jagger, Cooper, Lennie, Levi, Liv Helmers, Remi, Tyson and Tatum Oswald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lifepoint Church (1310 8th St, Manson, IA 50563). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
