He is survived by: his children, Mike Wentzel (Jane) of Emmetsburg, Pat Wentzel (Amber) of Pocahontas, Mary Jo Schroeder (Brian) of Pocahontas, Kelly Wentzel (Tammy) of Des Moines, Diane Flaherty (Tim) of Pocahontas, Nancy Wentzel of Des Moines, David Wentzel (Melissa) of Des Moines and Susie Wentzel of Pocahontas; and his brothers, Tom and Ted. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
