He is survived by: his father Robert Wentzel; his wife Amber Buske of Pocahontas; his sons, Zachary Wentzel of Haines and Clayton Wentzel of Des Moines; his siblings, Mike Wentzel (Jane) of Emmetsburg, Mary Jo Schroeder (Brian) of Pocahontas, Kelly Wentzel (Tammy) of Des Moines, Diane Flaherty (Tim) of Pocahontas, Nancy Wentzel of Des Moines, David Wentzel (Melissa) of Des Moines and Susie Wentzel of Pocahontas; his brother-in-law Randy Buske; and his pet Indy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
