With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Frances Mason of Pocahontas, Iowa, born in Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lauritsen and Marie Lauritsen (Gleason); her husband Bill Mason; and her brother-in-law Harvey Swenson. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Mason (Melissa) and Melanie Mason (Kim) of Waukee; and her siblings, Carolyn Sward (Jim) of Gailsburg, Peggy Swenson of Ankeny, Dennis Lauritsen (Jane) of Chicago, IL and Daryle Lauritsen (Lenus Schramm) of Onawa.
The family requests that memorials be made in Mary's name to the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in Riverside, IL and Ingemann Lutheran Cemetery near Moorhead.
