He is survived by: his sisters, Lois Hessenius (Richard) of Lemars, IA and Margaret Egli (Paul) of Manson, IA; his close friend Patty Mefferd of Pocahontas; and his friends, Sandy, Kolbe and Kenzie Rutherford. He is also survived by three nephews; four great nieces; two great nephews.
