He was predeceased by: his father Donald Auten. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Auten (Zeman) of Pocahontas; his wife Gina Pirie; his daughter Pegan Auten of Terril; and his siblings, Linda Lanning (Bill) of Rutland and John Auten of Storm Lake. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
