He is survived by: his wife Paula Thies of Pocahontas; his daughters, Crystal Letien of Royal, Julia Shearer (Bob) and Susan Dardar (Joe) of Georgetown, SC; and his siblings, Jeanice Kerns of Britt, Lorraine Eckman (Ron) of Fort Dodge, Bonita Helmers of Perry and Dennis Clark (Deb) of Perry. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
