He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester William Shimon and Esther Agnes Shimon (Johnson); his wife Carol Beth Strong of Paul's Catholic Church; his siblings, Eloise, Donald and Darold; and his siblings-in-law, Naomi Wood, Dean Strong and Wesley Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Bret, Becky and Sandra (Alex); his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Teyla and Ava; his brother Dean Shimon (Ilene); and his sister-in-law Diane Strong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
