He is survived by: his parents, Charles Jr. Bruns and Evelyn Bruns (Harms) of Spencer, Iowa; his sons, Tyler Bruns (Kailey) and Zachary Bruns (Brittany) of Pocahontas, Iowa; his granddaughters, Aubrie, Abigail, Braelyn, Chloe and Cassidy; and his sisters, Dianne Dirks (Marvin Jr) of Fonda and Darlene Carlson (Mike) of Spencer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
