She was predeceased by: her parents, Verle Hudek and Sadie Hudek (Hronek); her husband Dennis J. Habben; her brothers, Dennis and Robert Hudek; her parents-in-law, John and Anna Habben; and her siblings-in-law, Harvey Habben and Marlys Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Habben (Jennifer) of Boone, Alison Habben of Iowa City and Nicholas Habben of Spencer; her grandchildren, Brayden Habben, Brianna Habben, Bryce Habben and Corbin Habben; her siblings, Richard Hudek (Bella), Susan DeBuse (Larry), Debra Bevins (Larry) and Thomas Hudek (Tammy); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Meyer, Sue Hudek and Syd Hudek.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Pocahontas (502 4th Ave NE, Pocahontas, IA 50574). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church (11 SW 2nd St, Pocahontas, IA 50574). A burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (201 NE 6th St, Pocahontas, IA 50574).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Connie's name to the Palmer Library or the Pocahontas Catholic School.
