She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barmore (Bill) and Jane Barmore; her siblings, Mildred, Earl, Clinton (Mike) and LaVern (Ole); her former husband Guy Still; her husband Alvin Werkmeister; her children, Wesley, Jonathan and Carole Anne; and her stepsons, Ronald Werkmeister and Daniel Still.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Nees (Randy) of Pocahontas and Jeff Still (Marybeth) of Ankeny; her stepchildren, Connie, Janette, Alan, Pam and Glenda Werkmeister of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Matt Scharn (Chelsy), Mike Scharn (Lora), Carolyn Still and Caitlyn Still; her great grandchildren, Easton, Mason, Dawson, Jackson, Addilyn and Cooper Scharn; and her stepgrandchildren, Guy Still (Heidi), Oliver, Margaret Thompson (John), Mary Williams (James), Isiah, Amanda Kuchenreuther (Jarid), Peyton, Paxton, Jess Pierce (Eric), Isaac, Melinda Gaskin (Chad), Dakota, Savannah, Charlotte, Krystal Williams (Bryant), DJ, Gavin and Victoria Williams (Tyler).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Betty's name to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Pocahontas.
