He is survived by: his former wife Nellie Sandra Kay Ray; his children, Sandy Christensen of Fonda, Daniel Johannes of Sanborn, Bruce Johannes (Emily) of Pocahontas and Quincy Johannes (Tricia) of Avon; his son-in-law Gary Neal of Pershing; his sister Lola Hembry (Doyle) of Creston; and his siblings-in-law, James Ray of Creston, Richard Ray of Creston, Joan Medell of Eugene and Patricia Marquardt (Denny) of Springfield. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
