With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Darrell Mesecher of Pleasantville, Iowa, born in Swan, Iowa, who passed away on April 22, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Mesecher and Hazel Mesecher (King); and his siblings, Billy Dale Mesecher and Barbara Janette Raney. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Hansen; his children, Merri Lea DeWit (Tim), Ronda Dee Wicks (Scott) and Donnie Dean Mesecher; his grandchildren, James, Ryan DeWit, Kirk, Jacob, Ben Wicks, Kyla and Kelton Mesecher; and his sister Linda Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pleasantville American Legion Post No. 108 or to the Football and Football Cheer Programs at Pleasantville Community Schools.
