She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Brooks; her parents, Lee Knouse and Ethel Knouse; her sisters, Irma Ellsworth and Fern Hartz; her son-in-law Tom Moore; and her nephew Roger Hartz.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Kenny Horsman), Charlotte Moore of Atlanta, Georgia, Jenifer (Randy Rowray), Jerry Hartz (Jennifer Vasiloff), Sandy (Rich Oldaker) and Donna (Doyle Schrader); her grandchildren, Dana, Todd Kirisits, Mike, Annie Reeves, Jolene, Jerry Erdmann of Olathe, Kansas, Tom, Crystal Horsman of Knoxville, Valerie Wright of Pleasantville, Evelyn Hartz, Chris Stewart of Portland, Maine, Alicia Hartz of Boston, Massachusetts, Ben, Avalyn Rowray, Nathan Rowray and Brooklyn Rowray; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Horsman, Brayden Wright, Erin, Kate Kirisits, Tristan Douglas and Hadyn Reeves.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasantville Christian Church for a memorial that will be dedicated to Mildred Brooks.
