He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley R. Harvey and Jesse Harvey (Heaberlin); his daughter Stephanie Brooks; and his brother Ben Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Nadine Vickroy (Mark), Wesley "Rusty" Harvey and Mike Harvey; and his siblings, Melvin Harvey (Theresa), Bob Harvey (Bobbie) and Freida Mae Karr.
