She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlo Rex and Mary Thompson (Sergeant); her husband Dennis Owen Phipps; her son David; and her siblings, Robert Thompson and Charlotte Mosher.
She is survived by: her brother Ron Thompson (Brenda); her children, Dudley Phipps (Kelly) of Pleasantville, Darren Phipps of Des Moines and Dee Phipps of Pleasantville; her grandchildren, Amanda Hoffman (Scott), Ryan Phipps, Ashley Boeyink (James), Michael Phipps (Celeste), Christine Burgan (Alex), Brianna Bowman (Noah), Cori Green and Elias Phipps; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Emma Hodnefield, Tristan, Tate, Mackenzie Hoffman, Kalika and Ambrose Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be used for a tribute at Shadle Park.
