With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harry W. Poling of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Harry left this world on January 22, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Poling and Grace L. Poling (Tilton); his wife Jerry Lee Reagan; his brother Rev. Irwin Poling; and his son-in-law Richard Logsdon.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Logsdon of Monmouth, Mickie Chapman (Donald) of LeClaire, Harry Poling, Jr. (Dianna) of Rosedale and Thomas Poling (DeAnn) of Princeton, Iowa.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Glendale Cemetery.
