Connie K. Short Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie K. Short of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Connie K. Short to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Leatherman and Esther Leatherman (Wolf); and her brother Doug Leatherman. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" A. Short; her daughters, Kim Nethercott (Tony) and Pamela Tomes; her granddaughters, Ashley Nethercott, Audree Nethercott Radich (Kresimir), Hayley Tomes and Kara Tomes; and her brother John Leatherman (Darlene).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (18137 Criswell St, Bettendorf, IA 52722).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Connie's Running Trail Bench Fund.
