He was predeceased by: his parents, Tui Nguyen (Toy Tran) and Mau Nguyen. He is survived by: his wife Chalouaiphone Tran of Pleasant Hill; his sons, Joe Tran of Pleasant Hill and Andy Tran (Kelsie) of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Lennon and Veda. He is also survived by six siblings; sixteen nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and great nephews.
