With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack W. Sorensen of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann; his children, Shannon Noel Nehl (Jason), Jeffrey Paul Sorensen (Kaci), Bonnie Sue Corwin (Chris) and Amy Catherine Fesler (Brome); and his stepchildren, Jena Rexroat (Donnie), James Kalamaja (Brenda) and Megan Shepherd. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel Iles Grandview Park Chapel (3211 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Puppy Jake Foundation, an organization close to Jack's heart.
