He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Sr. Braafhart and Gail Braafhart (Jarmin); his wife Mary Gayle (Kane); his sons, Brad (Angie) of Lynnville, IA and Bret (Jennifer) of Pleasant Hill, IA; his grandchildren, Blake, Andrew (Anna), Caitlin and Ellie; his sister Mary Jane Ballenger; his son Ben; and his siblings, Darlene Dahlin and Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Elks Lodge #98 in loving memory of Harry.
