He is survived by: his children, Cary Hayes (Lisa), Tammy Hayes and Craig Hayes; his grandson Adam Hayes (Laura); his great grandchild Emma; his grandson Aaron Hayes (Genna); his great grandchildren, Ary, Elias, Austin Hayes, Ann Scheel, Palmer Hayes, Brant Hayes and Karlee Hayes; and also Addison. He is also survived by one brother and three sisters; as well as other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Wesley Life Hospice in appreciation of their care during Bud's final days.
